Lipstick Queen's Lipstick in Saint: "Peachy Nude"

I don't know about everyone else but there are some things in life which seem to be the most difficult to buy. I'm talking about the classic items that nearly everyone has and are (supposed to) form staples in your wardrobe,  the perfect pair of jeans, that perfect fitting coat, the little black dress,  those amazing classic go with everything boots or heels...well for me in the make up world that includes a perfect nude lipstick (along with the perfect red!) I'm always on the hunt for this elusive thing that is the perfect nude, that "your lips but better" shade... so here are my thoughts on this one from Lipstick Queen.

Lipstick Queen is a brand headed up by Poppy King, Australian entrepreneur and author of "Lessons of a Lipstick Queen" who first created a range of lipsticks named after the seven deadly sins. Lipstick Queen was launched in 2006 when King launched a range of lipstick duos in "Saint or Sinner" formulations offering different finishes, sheer and opaque. This particular nude is from the sheer Saint collection.

The packaging is a gorgeous matte gold bullet which feels really nice in your hand (I know this sounds weird but I am a sucker for packaging!)

I went for the peachy nude as felt this would better suit my warm skin tone but they also do a gorgeous pinky nude as well.

The formula is soft, sheer and buttery but contains a high level of peachy pigment to it. It's very moisturising on the lips and gives a gorgeous natural sheen. I would say that due to the formula this is not the lipstick that will last for hours through lots of eating drinking and talking but it is lovely and looks very pretty when applied.I have been wearing this lipstick almost daily since I ordered it online as it's perfect for work/everyday and I've been pairing it with a bronze smokey eye or a simple liquid liner flick.

Lipstick Queen lipsticks are available from Lipstick Queen Space NK and Cult Beauty and are currently priced at £20.
