Pampering Treats for the Day After the Night Before...

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great time whatever you were up to. I for one stayed in and celebrated at home last night, (loved being cosy in my pjs drinking glasses of fizz whilst the wind and rain whipped about outside!) but whether you were relaxing at home like me, or out partying, here are some of the products which I love to use to make me feel near human after a late night (or at anytime really!)

I am obsessed with candles, there, I've said it. My love has grown even more recently when I bought the Aromatherapy Associates Relax Candle as I love their bath oils.

This smells AMAZING. If you are into your aromatherapy/spa type smells then this is the one for you. It is scented with West Indian Bay and Myrrh essential oils to relax and soothe your (possibly) aching head. With a candle lit in the bathroom, run a hot bath with one of Aromatherapy Associates gorgeous Bath and Shower Oils. I have the Miniature collection which contains 9 mini bottles of oils each of which contains enough for one bath.

This is great as you get to sample different oils in the range. I love most of these oils as they are so effective and concentrated. If it's a restful night's sleep you are after the Relax Light/or Deep are the ones for you.

Once you've relaxed in the tub then feed you skin and hair with these beauties.

Kiehls Creme de Corps is THE body cream for dry dehydrated skin. It sinks in beautifully and isn't strongly perfumed. Leaves your skin gorgeous and silky. Over styled hair will love the James Brown Intensive Moisture Mask, it smells divine and contains shea butter, soy protein and white tea to soothe the scalp and deeply hydrate your hair.

If you want everything in one kit and can't be bothered rummaging around for different products then  The NPW Detox Pamper Pack is a really cute little kit which contains all you need to chill out and feel revitalised. Inside you get wild rose eye pads, a jojoba hair mask, aromatherapy foot cream and a cucumber and aloe vera face mask.

To make life even easier there are instruction for each product on the back. This cute, light all in one pack would be great if you were travelling to just pop in your bag.

Lastly, two treats for the face which always make me feel better are the Sanctuary Therapist's Secret Facial Oil and the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream both nourish and feed the skin with moisture. I've mentioned both of these products on the blog before and they now are an essential part of my everyday skincare routine.

Hopefully some of these goodies will do the trick and make you feel pampered and ready to face another day after a night (or more!) of celebrations and parties over the festive season. Happy New Year!
